Terms
Last updated: August 22, 2026
ScamReflex helps you build a reflex for spotting scams. These terms explain the agreement between you and us when you use ScamReflex. We keep them plain, because you deserve to understand what you are agreeing to.
Who we are
ScamReflex is a trading name of Roman Voloboev, operating as a self-employed person (autónomo) registered in Spain under identification number (NIE) Z2459759Y. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean that business. You can reach us at [email protected].
What ScamReflex is
ScamReflex is a fraud-awareness service. It sends you realistic practice scams so you can learn to recognize the real thing. It teaches a reflex through practice.
ScamReflex helps reduce your risk. It cannot promise that you will never fall for a real scam. No service can. You are always responsible for your own decisions with your real money and your real accounts.
Who can use ScamReflex
ScamReflex is a service for adults. By creating an account you confirm that you are an adult and that the name, phone number, and email address you give us are your own and are correct.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your account safe. One account is for one person. Please do not share your sign-in access with anyone else. If you think someone else has reached your account, write to us at [email protected].
What we send you: practice scams
This is the heart of ScamReflex, so we say it plainly.
- We send you practice scams by email and by text. They are made to look and feel like real scams so that practicing on them builds a real reflex.
- A practice scam may use urgency or pressure, such as a warning, a deadline, or an "act now" message. Real scams do this, so we practice with it too.
- Every practice scam tells you it is from ScamReflex. You never have to discover it. The message says so, the practice page says so, and the point where you would act says so.
- The practice-scam pages are safe. Nothing you type into one is ever saved or sent. They only look real so that you can practice.
Practice scams and your wellbeing
Because practice scams are made to feel real, one can feel urgent or stressful for a moment. That feeling is part of the lesson, and it passes. But your comfort comes first.
- You never have to finish a practice scam. You can stop at any moment and simply close it.
- If a practice scam ever upsets you or you would like a gentler pace, write to us at [email protected] and we will help. You can also stop practice scams entirely at any time (see "Stopping" below).
- ScamReflex is not medical or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a professional. If you feel unwell, please speak to someone you trust or a health professional.
What we ask of you
ScamReflex only works if the practice stays safe for everyone. When you use it, please:
- Use the practice scams and practice pages only for your own learning.
- Do not forward practice-scam messages or links to people who are not ScamReflex members, since a message that is safe for you in practice could confuse or worry someone who did not sign up.
- Do not try to break, overload, copy, or misuse the service or its pages.
Stopping
You can stop receiving practice scams at any time. Open your Account page and choose Unsubscribe. You keep your account and your history, and we simply stop sending you new practice scams.
If you want your account closed entirely, write to us at [email protected] and we will close it. Our Privacy Policy explains the small record we keep afterward to keep the service safe and honest.
We may also pause or close an account if it is misused or if we need to for the safety of the service.
What ScamReflex costs you
Today ScamReflex is free for members. You can sign up and use it without paying us anything, and we do not ask you for payment details.
- If you signed up on your own, your account is free. We do not charge you, and there is nothing to cancel.
- If someone invited you, your host holds a place for you. Whether your host pays us for that place is between them and us. Either way, you do not pay us.
Because we do not bill members, nothing on your account renews automatically, and no charge from us can appear on your card.
If your account is free today
Two promises, and they are simple ones.
- We will not start charging you for what you already have. Your account was free when you created it, and the practice you get today stays free for you.
- We will not take it away. What your account does today, it keeps doing.
ScamReflex will grow, and not everything we build later will be added to every free account. Some of it may be part of a paid plan instead. If that happens, we will say so plainly, and nothing you already have changes. You can carry on exactly as you are, for free, without deciding anything.
If we begin charging for new accounts, we will show the price and what it includes before anyone agrees to it. No one is charged without agreeing first.
If a free place or a host’s arrangement ever comes to an end, we will tell you before anything changes, and you can decide then whether to continue.
Refunds
If you are on a paid plan and you change your mind, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your payment. Write to us at [email protected] and we will return your payment to the card you used. The money usually reaches your account within up to ten working days. After 14 days we can no longer offer a refund, but you can stop your practice scams at any time (see Stopping), and you keep your account and your history.
Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you signed up for your paid plan.
To cancel, tell us your decision by a clear statement, for example an email to [email protected]. You may use the form below, but you do not have to.
To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your message before the 14 days are up.
What happens when you cancel
If you cancel, we will refund all payments we received from you, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us. We will use the same payment method you used, and the refund costs you nothing.

Our content
Everything we make for ScamReflex belongs to us. That includes our stories, our questions, our tips and lessons, the practice scams and their wording, the practice pages, the design of the service, and the name and logo of ScamReflex itself.
You are welcome to read our stories, and to use everything else for your own learning for as long as you have an account. What we do not allow is copying, republishing, or reusing our content for anything else, or using it to build another product or service, unless we give you our permission in writing.
We keep all our rights in this content. That includes the right to decide whether it may be collected automatically or used to train artificial intelligence systems, and we do not allow either.
If you believe something on ScamReflex uses your work without permission, write to us at [email protected] and we will look into it.
What you write to us
Some pages ask you a short question and give you a box to write in, such as what you would change about a lesson. Answering is always optional.
What you write stays yours. By writing it, you allow us to keep it and to use it to make ScamReflex better, including in a shortened or reworded form. We never publish it in a way that identifies you, and we never sell it.
If someone invited you to ScamReflex, your host may read what you write there. Your Account page always names your host.
Write it as something you are happy for your host to read. Please do not put anything private in one of those boxes, such as an account number, a password, or a health detail. We never need them, and we never ask for them.
No guarantee, and limits on our responsibility
We work hard to make ScamReflex helpful and safe, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it will be free of every fault or that it will prevent every real scam.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that follow from using ScamReflex. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, which continues to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one shown here, with the date it took effect at the top of the page. If we make an important change, we will let you know by email. If you keep using ScamReflex after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
The law that applies, and how we sort out problems
These terms are governed by the law of Spain, where ScamReflex operates.
Wherever you live, you keep any rights the law of your own country gives you that cannot be signed away, and nothing here is meant to take those rights from you. If you live in the United States, that includes the protections of federal consumer law and of the law of your own state, which apply whatever this page says.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at [email protected] and tell us what happened and what you would like us to do. Most problems are settled faster this way than any other, so please give us 30 days to put it right before taking it further.
If that does not settle it, a claim may be brought in the courts of Spain. If you are a consumer, you may instead bring it where you live, and nothing here stops you from using a small claims court.
